Hua Laem Prao Beach:
At the east of Koh Mook not far from
Ban Koh Muk Pier. This area is good for
a lazy strolling watching the scenery.
The beach has clear white sand, colorful
sea, shallow water and shady coconut
trees. Under the sea is full of seaweed
known as Dugong's tasty food. Hua laem
Prao Beach Pier shows its beauty all
through the day and is one of Koh Muk's
most terrific sunrise scenes.
Tam Yai Bay:
Located close to the entrance of Morakot
Cave Its striking feature is the most
beautiful coral reef in front of the bay
and good area to roll the kayak and
admire the scenery.
Farang Beach:
The
very popular beach among foreigners. So
it is called "Farang Beach" (Farang
means foreigners).
The beach has very white and clean sand
with shallow water. The line of buoys is
tied around the area for safety.
There is a path from Ban Koh Muk Pier to
Farang Beach to walk or ride the
motorcycles. Four bungalows are located
here.
Morakot Cave:
The
cliff ranging at the west of Koh Mook is
the site of Morakot Cave. To admire its
beauty is to swim about 70 m through the
cave.
The destination is a large hall without
roof, emerald sea and white sand which
achieve the world fame. Morakot Cave of
marvelous natural surroundings, white
clean sandy beach, emerald colored sea
where every group of tourists will spend
some time admiring after swimming
through the cave's entrance.
Morakot Cave
is located at Koh Mook, Toward the
northwest of Haad Chao Mai National
Park, in Koh Li Bong sub-district,
Kantang district, Trang province.
Koh Chueak, Koh Ma,
Koh Waen:
Home of colorful fish of
various species. Despite these three
islands are only huge rocks jutting from
the sea's surface, they play the
important role for Trang's tourism.
Around the islands are various fish,
beautiful coral reef and colorful sea
flower.
Tourists favorite
activities at Koh Chueak, Koh Ma and Koh
Waen are diving. Every touring boat will
stop, throw the line of buoys into the
sea and let tourists admire the undersea
world.
Koh Ma is
located north of Koh Chuak, about 4 km
from Koh Ngai. Koh Chuak and Koh Waen
are rested between Koh Muk and Koh Ngai.
The distance between the three islands
and Pak Meng Pier is about 12 km.
How to get there: Can be
reached by rented boats from Pak Meng
Pier or mostly by the package tour (one
day) which is much cheaper. Contact for
information at the tour companies in
Trang or at Pak Meng Pier.
These three islands are
small and located near one another with
no population. There is the bird's nest
concession at three islands. The islands
have no beach but the surrounding rocks
and high cliffs offering the most
fantastic diving spot of Trang Sea.
Koh Ma:
The island
having the horse shape, the area of
shallow water coral reef and seaweed.
Koh Chuak:
Comprising 2
islands with rapid current flowing in
between. So people have to hold the rope
while diving. It is the most famous area
of Trang for snorkeling where various
soft colorful coral reefs are found as
well as numerous fish.
Koh Kradan:
Koh Kradan is arguably the most beautiful
island in the Trang. It has an area of
600 acres. Most of the island (5/6) is
under the responsibility of Hat Chao Mai
National Park.
Koh Waen:
The island of
rocks with the shape like the setting if
the ring where a lot of swallows
inhabit. This area used to be the
location to hole the first wedding
ceremony under the sea of Trang.
Nevertheless, due to the area lacking of
any beaches, the ceremony was move to
Koh Kradan instead. At present, Koh Waen
is well known for various coral reef
(solid special), coralline and fertile
fish.
